100-Fold is a program designed to support business ventures in developing nations, to support and sustain the local community, primarily to reach the lost through the proclamation of the gospel. Matthew 13:8 is the supporting verse for the program ‘100-Fold.’ “Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty” (Matt. 13:8).
Matthew 13:8 is rooted in Genesis 26:12: “And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The LORD blessed him.”
Matthew’s account, in context, refers to the proclamation of the gospel, revealing the mystery or hidden treasure (Matt. 13:51), which is ‘the message’ for the purpose of bringing healing (Matt. 13:15). Healing refers to spiritual healing, dealing with spiritual sickness. The sickness (sin) is terminal, yet the remedy (Jesus) is eternal, transferring the infected (sinner) from death (Hell) to life (Heaven).
However, the account in Genesis 26:12 refers to financial increase and a rapid increase at that. Of course, the priority needs to be on spiritual healing moreover financial gain, but the one does support the other. For instance, without financial increase, it is difficult to advance the kingdom.
Financial increase supports the advancement of the kingdom, as seen in the Genesis account where God prospered Isaac. He did so to establish a nation, Israel. Through Israel, the nation, Jesus would come, and salvation would be proclaimed (John 4:22b). Furthermore, during the tribulation, salvation, in Jesus, will be proclaimed throughout the whole world, by the Jews (Rev. 7:1-17, 11:1-14, 14:1-13), and then the end will come (Matt. 24:14). In fact, until the Jews come to this revelation of Jesus, He will not return (Matt. 23:39). God prospered the Jews for this purpose, to spread the gospel by proclaiming Jesus.
The above-mentioned captures the very heartbeat of Kingdom Seekers, a ministry focused on supporting business ventures likely to produce 100-Fold. The purpose is to advance the kingdom through the proclamation of the gospel. Through this proclamation, in particular placing a priority on Jesus’ imminent return (and supporting events), Kingdom Seekers aim is to encourage others to seek God’s kingdom, to experience Him, and to bring others into an experience of Him. In doing so, we also believe for personal increase (Matt. 13:12a) that we can sow, even more, to grow, and produce greatly (Matt. 13:32).
Kingdom Seekers is passionate about warning the lost of the things to come, in particular, those sitting in churches, idol in sin, proclaiming to any and all ‘who have an ear to hear.’
Matthew 13:9 “He who has ears let him hear” is echoed throughout each of the 7-letters to the churches (Rev. 2-3, cf. 22:17). The message of which is to: Come, Repent and Hold Fast, until the end (Matt. 24:13), or else, suffer the consequences. The consequences for many will be the great tribulation, for the purpose of bringing about true and lasting repentance.
