Recently we were in Kampala, Uganda conducting a Bible prophecy conference. The following is a quick summary of the day’s events and activities.
Day 1, was the pastor’s only conference. Leaders came from all around the location. The hosting pastor (Fred) opened by talking about the sheep, goats, and wolves mixing together, and asked: Which one are you! (Wow). What a great intro to my message! At the end of the day, we feed everyone. While having dinner one of the attendees surrendered to Christ. She took off her rosary and denounced it. The lead pastors were so excited believing it to be a sign and beginnings of revival.
Day 2, I was speaking to youth leaders at a prestigious Christian school. The message was ‘Who do YOU say Jesus is?’ We started off with Matthew 16:15, explaining the context, and compared that with the different gospels being preached today, presenting another Jesus. From there I introduced Jesus from Revelation 1, proclaiming THIS is the Jesus coming back, not the meek and mild fluffy type often preached, nor the prosperity version. And it is THIS Jesus who addressed the 7-churches of the book of Revelation (2-3), issuing 5 with a strong warning, Repent, or else… We laboured there a while examining the condition of the churches, making comparisons with today. We then finished with the signs of the times noting that the primary sign, then and today, is deception, especially and increasing within the churches. In closing, there was a reminder: We must be ready, and to be ready we must be aware, waiting and watching, praying and preparing others also for the soon to return, Jesus. After several hours of that, we fed everyone. The school was very happy and have committed from Monday to studying the book of Revelation, recognising the importance and urgency of the message.
Day 3, we spoke in a church located in the hub of witchcraft. One of the pastors was born into witchcraft and operated as a warlock before having an encounter with Jesus. I preached on knowing ‘the’ Jesus of the Bible and being ready for His return. After the meeting, I had an encounter with a demonised man in front of the church. And then when leaving a riot broke out in the street. Youth were mocking and attacking the police and military. Certainly, this is a very volatile place. I get the sense it could erupt at any moment. I believe Uganda has a small window of opportunity to truly ‘know’ and worship the One true God before all hell breaks loose.

While we did have another conference booked for May 2020 in Vietnam, due to COVID-19 that has been put on hold. We are still committed to Tanzania however for early 2021. There are already 600 pastors registered for that conference, so we are expecting a good turnout and another opportunity to ‘light fires’ in the hearts of many regarding the imminent return of Jesus.
As you would expect there have been many prophesying, falsely, about the current situation; many ‘wolves’ are, in fact, being exposed. These are the same individuals who ‘prophesied’ that 2020 to be a great year back in January. Instead of admitting they got it wrong, they dig the hole a little deeper, revealing to be truly false. I too posted a prophecy regarding 2020, that I received in early January, which you can find here: https://www.kingdomseekers.com.au/2020-prophecy
More recently (early March), I asked God, where is this (COVID-19) all going? I immediately heard back, ‘This will pass as quickly as it came, for it is a wakeup call. If My people do not wake up after this, nothing will wake them up, and the next stop will be the great tribulation.’
In other words, this plague is a ‘warning shot’ designed to turn people around this side of the coming seven-year event. I strongly suspect, however, most will not. Although there is a lot of noise about prayer currently, I am betting as soon as things return to normal, it will be back to ‘business as usual’ for the lukewarm church. Time will soon tell. Either-way, the pale horse (sickness) of the tribulation is near, chomping at the bit, impatiently waiting for its time and release (Rev. 6:8, cf. Zech. 6:2-3, 7).
As always, thanks for your support, and in light of the current and soon to be, I remind you and leave you with the words of Jesus
“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have the strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34-36).
